It is a special low-viscosity pumpable and sprayable peroxide formulation containing 40% BPO which disperses and dissolves very quickly in unsaturated polyester and acrylic resins. It does not contain polar ingredients and the viscosity is set for optimal use in spray equipment for relevant segments like for example acrylic road marking.
BPO40% is a pumpable, sprayable, easily dispersed form of dibenzoyl peroxide used to cure unsaturated polyesters, vinyl esters, and acrylics, as well as acrylic modified resins, at room and high temperatures.
BPO40% should be used in combination with aromatic tertiary amine accelerators added to the resin alone at curing temperatures up to 80°C, and no accelerators are required above 80°C. BPO40% can be pumped through internal and external mixed FRP spraying equipment and poured or metered by volume, BPO40% is easier to use and handle than traditional dibenzoylperoxide pastes or dispersants.
